    Research Officer

    Industry: Finance

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop research work plans according to project needs.
    • Identify potential investors and build strong relationships with them.
    • Develop business proposals and assist in closing deal processes.
    • Perform day-to-day supervision of research staffs for assigned projects.
    • Act as primary contact for research team for any questions and concerns.
    • Attend meetings to share new ideas and discuss about issues.
    • Assist in maintenance of research database and company website.
    • Coordinate with management in budget preparation and expense control activities.
    • Review financial reports, perform invoice processing, and approve expenditures.
    • Analyze and resolve research issues in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Analyzing, monitoring, and researching the performance of stocks, trade markets and acquisitions.
    • Studies and conducts research to keep abreast of current trends; makes security selection and stays informed about developments in security markets using fundamental and/or technical analysis.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • A bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to Social Sciences
    • Minimum of 4-5 years post NYSC experience in Business Research
    • Enthusiasm for research.
    • Able to collate and analyse information.
    • Able to work as part of a team.
    • Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
    • Good organisational and presentation skills
    • Proactive
