Marketing Officer- Bakery, FMCG at D&M Data Solutions Ltd

LOCATION: Sango Ota, Ogun State / Lagos State

G&M Manufacturing Company is aggressively expanding and is looking for a high-performing, street-smart Marketing Officer who understands how to sell FMCG products in real Nigerian markets.

This role is target-driven, field-focused, and designed for marketers who can open new markets, push volume, beat competition, and grow revenue for both Defebi Bread and Defebi Sachet Water.

If you are not sales-driven or comfortable with fieldwork, this role is NOT for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales growth for Defebi Bread and Defebi Water
• Open new markets and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
• Push product availability and visibility in:
  • Open markets
  • Supermarkets
  • Schools, offices, and event vendors
  • Execute aggressive promotions, product sampling, and activations
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and distribution strength
  • Ensure strong product presence on shelves and at points of sale
  • Use WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook to support sales and bulk orders
  • Work closely with sales and production teams to hit volume targets
• Submit regular field reports and sales performance updates

REQUIREMENTS

• HND / B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 2–5 years FMCG field marketing or sales experience in a bakery is a must (bread, water, food preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Ogun and Lagos State sales routes and markets
• Proven ability to work with distributors and retailers
• Highly energetic, persuasive, and target-oriented
• Willingness to work on the field and meet sales targets
• Familiarity with Sango Ota Ogun State and environs, Ikeja and Oshodi area etc
• Candidate must reside in or around Sango-Ota, Ogun State, candidates in close proximity to Sango Ota shall be considered.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly (based on experience)
