    Relationship Managers

    Job Summary

    • The Relationship Officer is responsible for sourcing new clients, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting the bank’s financial products and services.
    • The role focuses on loan origination, client assessment, and ensuring timely loan repayment while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through client acquisition and market outreach
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and SME clients
    • Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products, including loans, savings, and other financial services
    • Conduct client visits and field assessments to evaluate creditworthiness
    • Process loan applications and ensure proper documentation in line with bank policies
    • Monitor loan performance and follow up on repayments to minimize default rates
    • Provide financial advice and guidance to clients on suitable products
    • Maintain accurate client records and prepare periodic performance reports
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
    • 1–3 years’ experience in microfinance banking, sales, or a similar role
    • Strong knowledge of microfinance products and credit risk management
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
    • Ability to work independently and meet targets
    • Familiarity with Abuja market and business environment is an advantage
