    Quality Control Officer

    Summary

    • We are seeking a highly meticulous and proactive Quality Control Officer to join our growing hospitality business.
    • This role is critical to ensuring all food, beverage, and operational outputs strictly meet our brand’s quality, safety, and consistency standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure strict adherence to approved grammage, measurement standards, and recipe guidelines across kitchen and bar operations.
    • Conduct routine inspections across all departments (kitchen, service area, bar, etc.) to ensure consistency in food presentation, portion sizes, and taste.
    • Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food quality, hygiene, and safety.
    • Monitor the entire production process from sourcing to final presentation, ensuring zero compromise on quality.
    • Identify deviations from quality standards and enforce immediate corrective actions in collaboration with kitchen and service teams.
    • Ensure staff comply with health and safety regulations, personal hygiene standards, and general cleanliness protocols.
    • Train and retrain staff on quality control procedures, SOPs, and safe handling practices.
    • Work closely with the Inventory and Kitchen Teams to monitor and manage ingredient usage and prevent waste or over-portioning.
    • Document quality assessments and generate reports to support performance reviews, compliance checks, and continuous improvement.
    • Support the management team in enforcing disciplinary actions when standards are not met.
    • Ensure that all equipment used in production and service is clean, functional, and meets compliance standards.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Control within the hospitality industry (QSR, restaurants, lounges, clubs, or hotels preferred).
    • Proven knowledge of grammage, recipe compliance, food cost management, and standard measurement practices.
    • Strong understanding of food safety procedures, kitchen hygiene, HACCP, and environmental health standards.
    • Ability to be firm, objective, and proactive in enforcing quality standards without compromise.
    • Excellent observation, reporting, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • A passion for excellence and a commitment to guest satisfaction through consistency and quality.
    • Detail-oriented, with strong recordkeeping and audit skills.
