Quality Assurance Manual / Automation Tester (Junior Level) at KloudOpp Limited

Job Description

• We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Manual/Automation Tester with 1 to 3years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and backend applications.
• You will play a key role in our product development lifecycle by creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and contributing to test automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Trello.
• Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.
• Contribute to continuous testing improvements in CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in QA testing (manual and/or automation).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar).
• Familiarity with RESTful API testing.
• Basic knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to CI/CD environments and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or Bash).
• Understanding of performance and load testing principles.
