Quality Assurance Engineer at PiggyTech Global Limited ("PiggyVest”)

The Quality Assurance Engineer will improve and maintain the system of quality and reliability testing for our products and development processes. Assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are resolved.

Responsibilities

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Stay up-to-date with testing tools and test strategies.

Test Execution and Bug Tracking:

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the cause of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Collaboration and communication:

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g, developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Requirements

• At least three years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or related field.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and testing design.
