    Quality Assurance Coordinator

    About Our Client:

    Our client is a leading healthcare institution in Lagos State, Nigeria, dedicated to providing high-quality medical services and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.     Role Summary:

    As a Quality Assurance Coordinator at our client's healthcare facility, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
    • Conduct audits and inspections of healthcare facilities, departments, and processes to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on quality assurance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Investigate incidents, complaints, and adverse events related to patient care quality and safety, and implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary quality improvement committees and workgroups to address system-wide quality issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Quality Management, or related field.
    • Proven experience working in quality assurance or healthcare quality management role.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards applicable to healthcare facilities (e.g., Joint Commission, NABH, ISO).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
