On-Site Nurse at Rotic Aluminium Extrusion

We are currently seeking an Onsite Nurse at our facility in Awka, Anambra State, to prescribe and administer medication, respond to work place injuries to ensure medical safety of the company's employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments 
• Identify, escalate and manage workplace health issues on our project sites
• Ensure availability and proper maintenance of first aid kits and medical supplies.
• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
• Manage and respond to workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate with external medical services for severe cases or emergencies.
• Maintain an emergency response plan and conduct regular drills.
• Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with the safety team to implement and monitor health and safety policies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3 Years work experience as a registered nurse.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Excellent clinical skills in providing first aid and emergency care.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in health record management and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
