Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer
As a QAQC Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring that all project specifications and standards are met. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to maintain high-quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control (QC) procedures to meet industry standards and regulations.
Inspect and audit construction sites, materials, and equipment for compliance.
Conduct material testing and performance assessments.
Review project documents to identify quality issues and propose corrections.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality concerns.
Document and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for adherence to quality requirements.
Provide training on QC procedures and best practices.
Maintain accurate QC records and compliance documentation.
Stay updated on industry trends and QC advancements.
Oversee testing, certification, and acceptance of construction materials and processes.
Manage all QA/QC project documentation, including NCRs and site instructions.
Ensure closure of non-conformance issues.
Take full accountability for quality in all civil engineering construction activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Proficiency in using quality control tools, equipment, and software applications.
