    Public Relations Manager / Media Officer (Female)

    Job Description

    • As the Public Relations Manager/Media Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our brand image and reputation. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in brand management and media relations, with a strong network of media outlets.

    Responsibilities

    • Brand Management: Develop and implement strategic brand management initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and image.
    • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure positive media coverage.
    • Public Relations: Create and execute PR campaigns that align with business objectives, including media releases, press conferences, and media briefings.
    • Crisis Management: Prepare and implement crisis communication strategies to protect the company's reputation in challenging situations.
    • Content Creation: Develop compelling and engaging content for press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media platforms.
    • Event Management: Plan and manage media-related events, such as product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
    • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and sentiment, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree (BSc / BA) in Communication or Business Management from a reputable institution.
    • 10 years of professional experience in brand management and public relations.
    • Certification from NIPR (Nigerian Institute of Public Relations) or related professional bodies is required.
    • A strong network of media outlets and connections in the industry.
    • Exceptional dress sense and personal presentation.
    • Professional working proficiency in English.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to manage high-profile brand campaigns and media relations.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
