Role Description

• The Video Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This role is responsible for planning, scripting, filming, and editing engaging video content that showcases itel Home’s products, services, and brand stories across digital platforms. The Video Content Creator will collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts for social media campaigns, product launches, in-store promotions, and corporate communications. Daily tasks include managing video production schedules, operating cameras and related equipment, organizing footage, and ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging. The role also involves analyzing performance metrics, optimizing content for audience engagement, and staying informed about trends in video content and digital marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong video production skills, including filming, lighting, sound recording, and video editing.
• Ability to develop creative concepts, write scripts, and storyboard video content for marketing and brand communication.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics tools.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms and understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement strategies.
• Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and a portfolio of previous video work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Relevant degree or certification in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in retail or consumer electronics is a plus.
