Protection Associate at Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (Caritas Nigeria)

Job Purpose

• To provide support in implementing protection activities and monitoring protection concerns within the project areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular field visits to identify protection risks and rights violations.
• Document and report protection incidents, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Facilitate referrals to appropriate service providers for identified cases.
• Assist in the implementation of community-based protection initiatives.
• Support the Senior Protection Officer in preparing activity reports and updates.
• Work closely with displaced populations to understand their protection needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with displaced populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Demands:
