Our client, an interior design company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee interior design projects from concept to completion.
The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, liaise with clients and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
This role requires strong organisational skills, site coordination experience, and a passion for design execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage interior design projects from planning and design phase through execution and final handover.
Develop project timelines, schedules, and work plans, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
Coordinate with designers, contractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site visits to supervise installations, quality of work, and adherence to design specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team, providing updates and managing expectations.
Ensure materials, furniture, and fittings are delivered on schedule and installed correctly.
Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or site challenges proactively.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures on project sites.
Prepare project reports, progress updates, and completion documentation for management and clients.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably within interior design, construction, or fit-out projects.
Basic understanding of interior design processes, materials, and site execution.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and client management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools or design software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
