• The company is seeking to hire a Project Engineer who will oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• S/he will work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to plan.
• The ideal candidate will also be responsible for bridging the gap between design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Manage project risk and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical support to the project team and address any technical issues that might arise during construction.
• Communicate project status to the project manager.
• Coordinate all relevant drawings and ensure proper documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD), with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Must be computer literate with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
