SOLAR INSTALLATION ENGINEER 

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Salary: N350,000

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solar Installation Engineer to independently execute the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV and battery energy storage systems. This is a hands-on technical role, not a supervisory-only position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, load calculations, and solar system sizing.
• Install and configure solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries, charge controllers, and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, communication, and system integration faults.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Apply working knowledge of ATS, STS, EMS, and battery management systems.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, manufacturer specifications, and electrical safety standards.
• Prepare installation, commissioning, and maintenance reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC core solar installation experience.
• Proven ability to independently install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot solar PV and lithium battery systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, load calculations, and system sizing.
• Good technical problem-solving skills and understanding of electrical safety procedures.
