    Programming Instructor for Juniors

    Responsibilities:

    • Get those kids pumped about coding! Teach coding concepts like variables, conditional statements, loops, functions, and event-driven programming using our super cool curriculum as your guide.
    • Bring your A-game to create and deliver lesson plans that are as fun as a video game and twice as educational. We're talking about teaching programming languages like Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. It's like being a wizard, but with code!
    • Be the coding hero that students need. Provide feedback, support, and high-fives as students work on their projects, tackle those tricky errors, and level up their programming skills.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where kids feel comfortable to share their ideas and ask those burning questions. You'll be their coding mentor and sidekick on this epic coding adventure!
    • Keep an eye on those coding superstars! Monitor their progress and adjust your teaching style as needed to help them soar to new coding heights.
    • Show off your awesome communication skills! Write reports on student progress and raise any concerns that may come up. You'll be the go-to person for keeping everyone in the loop.
    • Stay ahead of the coding game! Keep up-to-date with the latest programming languages, tools, and techniques, and make recommendations to level up our curriculum. You'll be the coding trendsetter on our team!
    • Be a team player! Attend meetings and training sessions to collaborate with fellow coding enthusiasts and keep the coding vibes going strong.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. We love brains and ambition!
    • 1-2 years of experience teaching programming to kids or teenagers. We need someone who knows how to bring the coding magic to life for our young learners!
    • Strong knowledge of programming concepts and languages like Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. You'll be the coding guru that our students look up to!
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be the friendly face and voice of our coding team!
    • Patience and empathy. We know that coding can be challenging, so you'll need to bring the patience of a saint and the heart of a teacher.
    • Creative problem-solving skills. You'll be the coding superhero that finds solutions to any coding conundrum!
    • Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of programmers. You'll be igniting that coding spark in our students and changing lives!
    • Flexibility is key! Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Our coding adventures can happen anytime!
