Production Manager at Quality Foods Africa

• We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Production Manager to oversee and manage our production operations.
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on Ice-cream production experience, a strong background in Ice cream Production, and a commitment to quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bakery and Ice-cream production processes to meet quality and quantity targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Manage production schedules, inventory, and manpower planning
• Train, supervise, and motivate the production team for optimal performance
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
• Collaborate with procurement, quality control, and store teams to ensure smooth operations
• Continuously improve processes for efficiency and product consistency

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven baking experience is mandatory (Ice creams and gelato or related Ice-cream products)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
