    Product Quality Lead

    The Product Quality Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate functions.

    • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.

    • Coordinates product testing processes and participates in product testing.

    • Work closely with other development & test teams to create and execute tests cases

    • Work with developers to triage defects to assist with speedy resolution and assure complete functionality of software applications.

    • Collaborate in an integrated agile software development team providing consistent communication and feedback amongst developers, testers, and product owners

    • Perform Test results analysis post execution of testing and provide feedback on areas of improvements in code.

    • Create and maintain test plans, a test environment, test data, and testing tools.

    • Work with development teams to consistent and efficient execution of existing manual and automated tests solutions as appropriate.

    • Maintain flexibility and strong working relationships with peers and management.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in computer science or similar field, plus minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Experience testing modern web application implementations.

    • Experience testing legacy applications.

    • Experience with web and mobile app test automation frameworks.

    • Experience testing REST APIs and web services.

    • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

    • Strong understanding of QA principles, methods, and processes.

    • Excellent documentation and writing skills.

    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

    • Ability to work across multiple teams and adjust to shifting priorities.

    • Familiarity with testing on mobile devices (iOS, Android).

    • Ability to work with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Teamcity, etc.).

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Ability to collaboratively work in an Agile team environment.

    Nice to have

    • Experience with cloud hosting – Amazon AWS, Azure, Heroku, etc.

    • Experience contributing to test automation frameworks using C# (Selenium, Calabash/Appium, TestNG, RSpec, etc.).

    • Experience writing/running database queries using SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

    • Familiarity with open source libraries and tools.

    • Familiarity with DVCS (Git, Gitflow) and branching.

    • Proficient with Windows system essentials

    • Experience with API testing
