Product Manager (Pharmacist) at Pharmacy Plus Limited

Summary

• The Product Manager is responsible for identifying the customer need and the larger business objectives that PPL products or features will fulfil.
• He/she articulates what success looks like for PPL’s product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality.

Responsibilties

• Provide the sales team with the necessary knowledge about each product to enable them to sell effectively and efficiently.
• Provide adequate and appropriate printed and electronic promotional materials and ensure that these are effectively and judiciously used by both the field sales force and the head office.
• Regular review of product data, to keep every member of the sales force abreast of competing firms and products.
• Act as point of the first reference and coordinator of every product-related inquiry.
• Assist in developing and institutionalizing a robust marketing and market research framework for the company.
• Assist in the development and operationalization of annual marketing plans.
• Product forecasting and general inventory management.
• Conceptualization and effective implantation of product campaign strategies and tactics.
• Assist in evaluating each rep and region’s product-by-product performance vis-a-vis agreed targets.
• Develop and maintain a robust data management & market intelligence gathering system to ensure that competitive data about competing firms, competing products, and customers are always collected, processed, and stored in retrievable forms to support marketing & sales strategies and decisions.
• Analyze and report on product performance to determine ROI.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy.
• Relevant Professional Certification.

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in Product Management.
