Role Summary

• Sahel Consulting is seeking a Product Designer to support the design of user-centered digital solutions across our technology and development projects. The role involves translating complex ideas into intuitive, accessible, and impactful products, particularly within the agriculture and development sectors.
• The role will also work closely with technical partners to shape product direction and will evolve toward broader product management responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive web and mobile products that address user needs across Sahel’s project areas.
• Conduct user research and translate insights into practical design solutions.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and project teams to deliver functional solutions.
• Ensure consistency through design systems and best practices.
• Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements and feature specifications.
• Continuously improve product usability based on feedback and data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years experience in product/UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work.
• Interest in or exposure to data-driven products, digital platforms, or technology systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
