    Process Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The incumbent will ensure the efficiency of production operations and create and implement changes or improvements as needed. You will generate documentation of existing processes and improvements, forecast expected results of process changes, analyze implemented changes and make further adjustments to workflow, schedules or other processes as required.

    Develop production improvement and recovery plans in case goals are missed. Also responsible for planning to instill improvements in productivity and efficiency and is responsible for safety. Ensure team members are properly trained.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    Process Management

    • Identify and monitor performance indicators that measure how well the area level objectives are supporting the plant / basic strategies.
    • Establish, maintain and communicate production, manpower, quality and expenditure as the basis for all plant level objectives
    • Break down various production processes with flowcharts, manuals and other documentation outlining current practices.
    • Assemble relevant data and study way to make improvements to one or many steps to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve time management or make needed changes to other aspects of the process.

    Implementation & Team Management

    • Oversee the process improvement implementation process by working with the Production Manager, team members and other employees to ensure that the plan is clear and can be applied quickly and efficiently.
    • Assist in training staff on any changes changes being implemented.

    Process / Quality Control

    • Monitor and assess various processes to ensure that they are producing the desired outcomes.
    • Where required, make changes to steps in each process as needed to adjust improvements to reflect better results in production, cost reduction and other targeted outcomes.
    • Participate in overhauling of all the equipment in the plant.

    Compliance

    • Ensures device and outline maintenance procedures for production system / equipment to ensure maximum service life and utilization
    • Monitor installation of designed equipment/ systems to ensure compliance with designs specification and safety codes in the plant
    • Perform test planning and execution, data acquisition, data analyst and reporting on assigned projects

    Safety

    • Design, monitor and control systems/ equipment to provide a useful and safe workplace
    • Have good knowledge in driving safety rules.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree/ HND in Engineering or a relevant degree
    •  Process Engineering Certifications, etc.
    •  10 years cumulative Process Engineering experience preferably in FMCG Environment.
