    Pricing and Market Intelligence Specialist

    Role Summary:

    The Pricing and Market Intelligence Specialist will play a critical role in developing pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights to drive competitive advantage. This role demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, and the ability to synthesize data into business recommendations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Pricing Strategy Development
      • Develop and implement pricing strategies for pharmaceutical products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
      • Monitor pricing trends and adjust strategies to respond to market dynamics.
    2. Market Analysis
      • Conduct comprehensive market research to assess competitor pricing, market demand, and customer preferences.
      • Identify opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
    3. Data Collection and Reporting
      • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including internal sales data, market reports, and customer feedback.
      • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
    4. Stakeholder Collaboration
      • Work closely with sales, procurement, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
      • Provide recommendations to leadership based on market insights.
    5. Regulatory and Economic Awareness
      • Stay updated on regulatory changes, currency fluctuations, and economic trends affecting pricing strategies.
      • Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, market intelligence, or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape in Nigeria is highly desirable.
