    Placement Manager

    Job Summary:

    • The Placement Manager is responsible for developing employer partnerships, securing job opportunities for Medbuddy graduates, and ensuring a seamless transition from training into the healthcare workforce.
    • The ideal candidate will lead the overall placement strategy, coach students for employability, and maintain high employment success rates post-training. The placement manager is responsible for building and mapping out our HomeCare service end-to-end, developing all the nuts and bolts, and various services. 
    • The successful candidate is also responsible for developing the step-by-step procedures, quality control, hiring the right team, getting the right licenses, running the entire business unit, building the product, and growing it to become a household name for premium private care services in Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Job Placement Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive job placement strategy focused on fast-tracking Medbuddy graduates into healthcare employment.
    • Employer Relationship Management: Identify, build, and sustain strong partnerships with hospitals, care homes, clinics, and healthcare agencies for job openings.
    • Graduate Support: Equip students with the necessary tools, such as CV writing support, job interview preparation, and career counselling to enhance employability.
    • Vacancy Sourcing: Actively source and match job vacancies to qualified Medbuddy graduates, ensuring consistent employment opportunities.
    • Employer and Alumni Engagement: Conduct regular employer and alumni check-ins to track hiring trends, graduate success, and future hiring needs.
    • Career Readiness Training: Coordinate career workshops, mock interviews, and job fairs to prepare students for the workforce.
    • Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student placements, employer feedback, and job success rates for internal analysis and reporting.
    • Placement Events: Organise recruitment fairs, career days, and employer networking events to expose students to real job markets.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in job placement, recruitment, employer relations, or career services.
    • Strong network and understanding of the healthcare labour market.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Results-driven with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
