    OJL Trainer – Coach – Assessor- (Electrical & Instrumentation)

    JOB SPECIFICATION:

    Education Qualification:

    • equivalent of B.Sc. Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Engineering (2.1). Professional Qualification:
    • exposure to International Training standards and Assessment/Verification Guidelines. assessor or Verifier Qualification

    Experience

    • A seasonal technical professional with a minimum of 7 years with an Oil & Gas multi-national Operator or Service Company in a supervisory role in a Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation Maintenance. Minimum of 2 years active training experience, preferably in On-the-Job Training/Learning.

    KEY COMPETENCES REQUIREMENTS:

    Functional/Technical:

    • Motivated trainer dedicated to developing trainee talent: knowledge, skill and personal performance.
    • Articulate communicator with good interpersonal and man-management skills.
    • Keen, active, creative and innovative person continuously seeking new ways to affect technology transfer.
    • Able to operate independently of the central management location.
    • Oil & Gas production operations or maintenance experience.
    • On-the-Job Training, Coaching and Mentoring
    • Broad spectrum of plant and process exposure.
    • Preferably with a recognized certificate, or experience, in competence assessment ( to Level A1 / L9DI / V1 ).
    • Classroom Training ability.

    Experience with Auditing Behavioral:

    • Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities.
    • Team player that goes beyond job requirement in solving problems and challenges
    • Ability to work under pressure and still meet up with given deadlines.
    • Able to work to tight deadlines. Keep strict deadlines (no postponing)
    • Able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks .
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as part of an effective team.
    • Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational skills
