    Occupational Health Nurse

    Job Summary

    • Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of occupational health nurse.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.
    • Monitor and manage workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up care.
    • Coordinate immunization programs (e.g., hepatitis, flu shots) and health screenings.
    • Identify potential occupational hazards and work with the HSE team to mitigate risks.
    • Promote wellness programs and health education initiatives for staff.
    • Maintain confidential employee medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and infection prevention initiatives.
    • Serve as a resource for employees regarding work-related health concerns.
    • Collaborate with HR, safety officers, and department heads on employee health issues.
    • Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and standards

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with current practicing license.
    • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with exposure to occupational health.
    • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
