The Director of Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing all production and manufacturing operations in line with the company’s production plans. The role ensures efficient production execution, high product quality, optimal resource utilization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes while maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Based on the factory’s production plan, organize and develop detailed production execution plans, coordinate production resources (personnel, equipment, materials, etc.), and ensure the orderly and efficient execution of production activities.
• Control and monitor production progress, track the implementation of production tasks, promptly resolve bottlenecks in the production process, and ensure production plans are achieved on time.
• Oversee production quality management by establishing and implementing a comprehensive quality control system, carrying out quality improvement initiatives, reducing defect rates, and continuously improving product quality.
• Drive production efficiency improvement by optimizing production processes, production layouts, and manufacturing organization methods; promote lean production practices to reduce losses and enhance overall production efficiency.
• Manage production equipment by formulating equipment maintenance plans, monitoring equipment operating conditions, organizing equipment maintenance and optimization, ensuring stable equipment performance, and extending equipment service life.
• Oversee on-site production management, implement 5S management standards, standardize operational procedures, and ensure safe, orderly, and compliant production environments.
• Coordinate collaboration between the production department and other departments such as procurement, planning, and quality to resolve cross-departmental issues and ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

• African nationality, aged 35–50 years, with a Bachelor’s degree or above. Preferred majors include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields.
• More than 8 years of experience in production and manufacturing management within large-scale manufacturing enterprises, including at least 5 years in a similar senior manufacturing management role. Experience in lean production management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, equipment management, quality control, and on-site production management, with extensive hands-on experience managing production sites.
• Excellent production organization and coordination skills, strong problem-solving ability, cost control capability, and proven team management skills.
• Good Chinese and English communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate internal and external production-related activities.
• Strong sense of responsibility, pragmatic and rigorous work style, high execution ability, strong resistance to pressure, and a firm commitment to safety and quality-first principles.
