    NYSC Intern – People & Culture (HR)

    About the job

    • We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive NYSC Corps Member to join our People & Culture (Human Resources) Team. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR operations, people management processes, and organizational development initiatives within a dynamic Oil & Gas logistics environment.
    • The position offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain practical experience in recruitment, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance while contributing to TSL’s people strategy and operational effectiveness.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with recruitment processes including job posting, CV screening, and interview coordination.
    • Support onboarding activities and documentation of new hires.
    • Help maintain employee records, files, and HR databases.
    • Assist in preparing HR letters, memos, reports, and other official correspondence.
    • Participate in HR compliance, documentation, and audit activities.
    • Provide administrative support in organizing trainings, staff welfare initiatives, and HR meetings.
    • Support day-to-day People & Culture operations and team deliverables.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

    Requirements

    • Currently serving in the NYSC program and seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
    • B.Sc. in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Eagerness to learn and build a career in Human Resources.
