Nurse - Pediatrics at St. Ruth Children's Research Hospital

Job Description

• We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our growing medical team.
• The ideal candidate will provide direct care to children admitted for treatment, assist in medical procedures, educate families, and support our multidisciplinary team in delivering world-class pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with hospital protocols
• Monitor patient health and administer medications or treatments as prescribed
• Educate parents and caregivers on home care, medications, and recovery support
• Document and report patient progress and any changes in condition
• Support physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures
• Assist with triage, emergency response, and clinical coordination
• Uphold infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current practicing license in Nigeria
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) or RN certification with pediatric experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a hospital or clinical setting
• CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to compassionate care
• Ability to work under pressure and handle pediatric emergencies.
