Medical Laboratory Technician / Phlebotomist at Shalina Healthcare

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques.
• Perform basic lab tests and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Accurately label, handle, and store samples.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure quality control standards.
• Obtain and register accurate patient information and medical history.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
• Handle billing, receipts, and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and update patient records promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology / Phlebotomy,
• Valid license from the MLSCN
• 2-5 years’ experience in a similar healthcare or diagnostic center setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, patient record systems).
• Polite, organized, and attentive to detail.
