Marketing Officer at FATE Foundation

Job Summary:

• We seek an innovative, results-driven and highly organized Marketing Officer who is enthusiastic about supporting our business development efforts for our products and services.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for the promotion, marketing, and sales of FATE Foundation’s published books, online courses and programs through various channels and medium while ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s strategic direction.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure regular marketing campaigns and champion-related initiatives to exploit market opportunities that reflect alignment with FATE’s innovative brand leadership and philosophy.
• Plan and ensure the marketing and sales of FATE published books, online courses, and programs by organizing and attending trade shows or corporate market activations when required.
• Work with the graphics designer to design engaging graphic communication for
• print and web, including marketing/communication brochures, direct mail pieces,
• flyers and other marketing materials as needed.
• Design advertising strategies to boost customer reach for all FATE published books while improving visibility and marketing results.
• Carry out market analysis, research and stay up to date with the latest marketing innovations, trends, technologies, and techniques.
• Review and measure market outcomes’ progress, performance, and success and adjust or pitch ideas for new campaigns.
• Keep proper and accurate records of printed books, sales of FATE books, online courses and tools.
• Conduct thorough monthly inventory of the storehouse to ensure adequate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in designing and implementing strategic marketing objectives.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques, principles and strategies, including continuing
• education in new marketing tactics and tools.
• Good understanding of market research techniques and principles.
• Ability to create and edit documents as well as ensure the accuracy of records
• Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them.
• Understanding of Marketing, Production, Advertising, and Multimedia Designs.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies including CorelDraw, Adobe
• InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite like Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Very strong interest and passion for the non-profit or development sector.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or any related field from an accredited university.
