    Maintenance Manager

    United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the reliability and efficiency of all equipment. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, resource management, and continuous improvement to support field operations across multiple project locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for seismic, mechanical, and electrical equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
    • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for vehicles, generators, compressors, drills, survey equipment, and other seismic field assets.
    • Plan and manage workshop operations, ensuring timely servicing, repair, and calibration of equipment.
    • Lead, train, and mentor maintenance teams (technicians, mechanics, electricians, welders, etc.) to maintain high technical standards and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
    • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role, ideally within seismic or oil and gas operations.
    • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
    • Experience managing maintenance of vehicles, heavy-duty equipment, and field machinery.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse technical teams and manage operations across multiple field locations.
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
