Maintenance Manager at a Reputable Pharmaceutical Company

A REPUTABLE MANUFACTURING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY BASED IN LAGOS REQUIRES THE SERVICES OF AN EXPERIENCED MAINTENACE MANAGER.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure prompt repairing of equipment and general maintenance of Production machine & equipment, generating plant, boiler, Air compressor etc
• General Planning and execution of Maintenance/Preventive Maintenance schedule on all Production / Maintenance equipment
• Prompt and constant checks on all equipment and machine to detect any fault that may arise and be proactive to prevent such fault
• Investigating production problems in relation to Machine and equipment and making improvement to operation to enhance efficiency
• Installation of new machines and equipment and training of maintenance staff on the operation of the new machine
• Calibration and validation of all machine/equipment in factory to avoid any deviations from standard/specification
• Relating with the regulatory agencies (NAFDAC, PCN, NESREA, LASEPA etc) to avoid sanction and fines
• Effective Supervision of engineering and technical staff
• Monitor the expenses and control budget for maintenance
• Manage relationship with contractors and service providers
• Keep Maintenance log and report on daily activities and ensure health and safety policies are complied with
• Report writing / Documentation and advising Management on all Maintenance issues

JOB SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

• Experienced in planning maintenance operations
• Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• B.Sc./HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals manufacturing system will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must reside in Lagos; residence around Amuwo Odofin, Mile2, Festac, Coker, Apapa, Satelite town etc will be an added advantage.
