As a Liaison Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will coordinate with our customers, suppliers and service center in Port Harcourt to ensure effective communication and execution of repair jobs.

How You’ll Make An Impact
Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, internal partners, suppliers and the service center, ensuring all communications are clear and concise.
Manage designated service center orders from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed successfully and within quality guidelines.
Evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) scopes and prepare job quotations.
Conduct contract reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms and conditions.
Update Work in Progress (WIP) reports and supervise ongoing cost actuals versus estimates.
Collaborate with Technical Specialists and the Quality Assurance manager to ensure jobs meet quality standards. Prepare detailed shop instructions for inspection and repair scopes, referencing all appropriate technical specifications and procedures.
Review invoices for accuracy before issuance and ensure overhaul reports are completed and sent to clients promptly.
What You Bring
Demonstrated ability in a repair service role, with familiarity in turbo-machinery, reciprocating and rotating equipment repairs.
Proven time management capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer interfacing skills and the ability to evaluate customer specifications and develop specific repair work scopes.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing projects and tasks.
Proficiency in English is required.
An educational background mechanical engineer (B. Mech.).
Ability to travel locally to visit suppliers as needed.
