    Lead, Business Development - Digital Personal Loan

    Job Summary

    As the Business Development Lead (B2B2C) for our Digital Personal Loan product, you will drive growth by establishing and managing strategic B2B2C partnerships. This role focuses on expanding our customer base through alliances with businesses that align with our target market. You will be responsible for creating and executing partnership strategies to effectively promote and distribute our personal loan products, leveraging these collaborations to maximize market reach and deliver valuable financial solutions to end consumers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategy Development and Execution

    • Develop and implement B2B2C strategies to achieve personal loan sales targets.
    • Identify and establish partnerships with businesses that can promote and distribute personal loan products.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and execute effective B2B2C campaigns.
    • Drive sales growth through effective B2B2C channels.
    • Develop and manage sales initiatives to promote personal loan products through business partners.
    • Provide support and training to partners to enhance their ability to sell personal loan products.
    • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of B2B2C strategies.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to support overall business objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the B2B2C team.

    Partnership Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners.
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefits and alignment with business objectives.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships, ensuring they meet established targets and deliver desired outcomes.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential business partners and new market opportunities.
    • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support business growth.

    Operations Management  

    • Oversee the daily operations of the B2B2C function to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement best practices and process improvements to optimize B2B2C operations.
    • Monitor and manage performance metrics, including sales volume, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on B2B2C performance, market trends, and business activities.
    • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the Head, Personal Loans based on analysis.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • Relevant professional certifications or Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years in business development, sales management, or partnership management, preferably in financial services.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful partnerships.
    • High proficiency in sales techniques and partnership management.
