Develop and manage daily kitchen schedules, assigning tasks to staff based on skillsets and ensuring efficient workflow.
Oversee employee performance throughout the shift, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to maintain quality standards and productivity.
Monitor and motivate staff to achieve daily sales and production targets.
Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and service procedures comply with industry safety regulations and company protocols.
Train and integrate new kitchen staff, providing comprehensive instruction on food preparation techniques, equipment operation, and organization standards.
Address employee concerns promptly and professionally, resolving conflicts in a calm and fair manner.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment with zero safety violations.
Perform occasional stocking and transfer of supplies within the kitchen area
SPECIFIED SKILLS
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a kitchen shift supervisor in a fast-paced QSR kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking procedures.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices.
Proficiency in basic computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight, and working in a fast-paced environment.
