Junior HR Officer at Owens and Xley

Our client, a leading and award winning food processing company is currently recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Location: Lekki

Description

• Publish jobs on job boards
• Conduct assessments and interviews
• Onboard new employees
• Responsible for orienting new employees to the organization
• Answer all employee questions about HR regulations and benefits
• Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
• Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
• Researching, selecting and developing applicable job responsibilities/duties/roles for vacancy posts that relate to the food industry
• Prepare payroll by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves
• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
• Coordinate training sessions and seminars
• Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
• Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

 SKILLS

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Team work
• Computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications
• Must live in Lekki Axis

Requirements

• HND/BSc in a relevant field.
• Proven work experience (Minimum of 1 year) in a similar role
• Proven experience with HR software

SALARY

N60,000 – N80,000
