Junior Accountant at Chris Ejik Group of Companies

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant with 1–3 years of accounting experience to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records
• Support audit preparations and ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Assist with tax filings and statutory reporting where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently
