About the Role

• We’re hiring a Junior Accountant to support our finance operations in Sagamu. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with 1–2 years of accounting experience who’s eager to grow their career in a structured and supportive environment.
• You’ll assist with daily financial tasks, reconciliations, reporting, and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries and financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly closings and preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
• Help manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain up-to-date records and organize financial documents.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.
