    Jumia Sales Representatives

    Job Summary

    • A Sales Manager at Jumia is responsible for driving sales growth, managing vendor relationships, leading sales teams, and improving customer acquisition across online and offline channels.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
    • Lead and supervise sales representatives, agents, or account managers
    • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs and performance reports
    • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, merchants, and strategic partners
    • Identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas
    • Coordinate promotional campaigns and pricing strategies with marketing teams
    • Analyze sales data to improve customer acquisition and profitability
    • Train and mentor sales staff to improve productivity and performance
    • Resolve customer or vendor issues related to sales and service delivery
    • Ensure proper stock availability and product assortment management

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Revenue growth
    • Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV)
    • Customer acquisition rate
    • Vendor retention and satisfaction
    • Sales conversion rate
    • Team target achievement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
    • 3–5+ years of sales or business development experience
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or telesales is an advantage
    • Ability to meet aggressive sales targets
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills
    • Knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
