IT Officer at Quality Foods Africa

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Officer at Quality Foods Africa Group in both Lagos State and Abuja, Nigeria.
• The IT Officer will be responsible for troubleshooting, providing technical support, and managing network and system administration tasks to ensure smooth IT operations within the company on a day-to-day basis.
• This role is critical in maintaining system efficiency, implementing IT solutions, and supporting the overall digital strategy of the company.

Job Description

• Provide first-line support to staff, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Provide remote assistance to all locations
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and servers.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Assist in the planning and executing IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience as IT Officer, IT Support Specialist, or similar role preferably in QSR
• Knowledge of systems engineering, computer maintenance, server administration, installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Relevant certifications in IT or related fields.
• Knowledge of computer networking, LAN, WLAN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
