Role Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth investigations on social, political, corporate, economic, and international affairs.
• Develop and maintain credible sources, leads, and contacts in diverse sectors.
• Analyze documents, interview subjects, and verify complex data for factual accuracy.
• Write clear, compelling, and well-structured reports and long-form articles under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with editors, visual storytellers, and legal consultants to ensure ethical and impactful publishing.
• Uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity and investigative rigor.
• Pitch and pursue original story ideas aligned with Napoleon News' global vision.

Requirements

• Proven track record in investigative journalism, preferably with published work.
• Excellent research, interviewing, and fact-checking skills.
• Strong writing and storytelling ability with attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of media law, ethics, and current global affairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stories at once.
• A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Law, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in politically sensitive or high-risk environments is a plus.
