Job Summary:

• Responsible for accurate inventory management, control, and optimization to ensure efficient operations and minimize losses.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Conduct physical counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and databases.
• Verify inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers).
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control measures.

Stockroom Organization:

• Maintain organized and tidy stockroom conditions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory.
• Label and sign inventory locations.
• Optimize storage capacity.

Receipt and Inspection:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Verify quantity, quality, and documentation.
• Update inventory records.

Issuance and Returns:

• Process inventory requests and issue items.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
• Handle returns, damages, and defects.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate inventory reports (e.g., stock levels, movement).
• Analyze inventory trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide insights for inventory optimization.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 2 years of inventory management experience.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inventory management.
• Computer literate.
• HND, or degree preferred.
