We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Officer who will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating the movement of goods, and ensuring efficient logistics operations in the Organization.
This role involves overseeing inventory control, coordinating shipments, and optimizing the supply chain to meet client demands and minimize costs.
The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator works closely with various departments to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
The Inventory and Logistics Manager supports efforts and oversees record-keeping and reporting requirements.
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular stock counts.
Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Provide accurate and up-to-date digital and physical inventory records for regular reporting purposes.
Plan and schedule the transportation of goods from the warehouse to the final destination.
Move equipment and goods between facilities as needed to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, logistics performance, and supply chain metrics.
Utilize inventory management software and other tools to track inventory and logistics activities.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in Proven experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
