    Institutional Capacity Strengthening Manager

    The opportunity

    Plan is seeking applicants for an Institutional Capacity Strengthening Manager for the anticipated USAID-funded Opportunities to Learn education activity in Nigeria. The Opportunities to Learn activity aims to equip out-of-school) children and youth in northeast Nigeria with the foundational skills needed to progress to higher levels of education, train int and/or engagement in the workforce. This position is contingent upon award of the project by the donor.

    About You

    • We are looking for applicant with a Bachelor’s degree in International Education, Education, Education Policy and Planning, Education Administration, International Development or related field required. NYSC discharged or certificate of exemption is compulsory.
    • The candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) years demonstrable experience in education project implementation, specifically in primary education reform, institutional capacity building, policy framework development and working in crisis affected environments.
    • Experience working with government agencies, actors, schools, Head Teachers and other stakeholders at the national, district and local levels. Ability to lead workshops, trainings and strategic planning sessions.
    • Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, education data management and analysis. and data presentation through user-friendly dashboards.
    • Preferred candidate must proficient in English Language communication both oral and written.
    • Understands organizational Gender, Equality and Inclusion, Safeguarding and PSHEA policies, and Acts as a role model for the organization’s commitment to non-discrimination, Safeguarding and PSHEA standards.
    • Demonstrates leadership in ensuring that staff, programmes and operations are safe for all children and programme participants in all their diversities
