This position is based in OCHA Nigeria Humanitarian Fund. This position is responsible for conducting programme, monitoring and reporting activities on behalf of the Head of Humanitarian Financing; act as secretariat the NHF Advisory Board; for donor relations, particularly with NHF donors; and for humanitarian financing advocacy, analysis, and reporting.
This job opening is being advertised for the position of Humanitarian Monitoring and Programme Officer (NOB) located in the OCHA Maiduguri Office and reports to the Monitoring & Reporting Officer (P3).
Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Monitoring & Reporting Officer (P3), the Humanitarian Monitoring and Programme Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Implementation of the monitoring pillar of the NHF accountability framework.
Review narrative reports of NHF funded projects.
Facilitate knowledge-building and knowledge-sharing on NHF processes within OCHA Nigeria and the NHF implementing partners.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Political or Social Science, Economics, Business, Law, International Studies, Public Administration, or other relevant science or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or a first level university degree with relevant academic qualifications with a combination of 4 years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
