    Human Resources Officer

    Read Duties before Applying

    • As an HR Ops officer, you will be responsible for providing wide-ranging strategic and operational support to the management.
    • You will be responsible for managing a variety of projects and tasks.
    • You will work closely with the senior management team in achieving the objectives within the resources available, ensuring that a standardized and corporate approach is maintained.
    • You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting of progress against outputs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide high quality professional advice to our clients on HR issues, including complex employee relations issues, and provide support where required in relation to other HR activities.
    • Manage HR Ops
    • Manage and support disciplinary and grievance matters and resolve issues in a timely and supportive manner.
    • Provide advice and support to line managers and staff on legislative and regulatory directives and ensure a balance between business needs and legal requirements.
    • Ensure that HR policies and procedures and applied fairly, providing support and guidance where necessary.
    • Support and oversee the Performance Development system where appropriate.
    • Recommend and take the lead on the development of Policies and Procedures as needed.
    • Deliver HR specific workshops as required e.g. recruitment, disciplinary & grievance
    • Support the development of new HR systems and processes to drive efficiencies and improve service delivery.
    • Work with the HR Business Partners and Head of HR on any people initiatives as requested.
    • Lead, manage, develop and motivate people and ensure they know what is expected of them, maximize their performance and develop their potential.
    • Deliver one off activities and projects to the outcomes and standards agreed with clients.
    • Supervise payroll and pensions processes and develop reward systems as appropriate.
    • Updating company HR records (organizational charts and reports).
    • Lead and support successful implementation of projects
    • Oversee and approve all recruited candidates
    • Relationship building - constant communication with internal and external stakeholders

    What you'll need to succeed

    • You will be educated to BSC or possess equivalent level of experience.
    • You will have a proven track record in staff management which includes specifics such as planning, change, performance and project management and more.
    • You will possess the ability to lead successful teams and build strong relationships.
    • You will be a confident communicator with ability of working to desired timescales. Knowledge of broad management functions such as HR, Finance and Risk is essential for this post.
    • You will be competent in IT including Microsoft Office and possess ability to work to own initiative and solve complex problems.
