    Job Profile for Human Resources Manager

    Our client in the procurement & Supply Chain industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to drive people strategy, enhance workforce performance, and ensure compliance across operations.
     

    Job Summary

    The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading and executing HR strategies across the company’s operations, ensuring alignment between business objectives and people strategy. The role involves driving organizational performance, employee engagement, compliance, and talent development in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring HR policies and practices align with business goals, industry standards, and operational needs while fostering a high-performance culture and positive employee experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and growth
    • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives.
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and collaborate with department heads to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
    • Drive employee engagement, retention, and a positive organizational culture through effective HR initiatives.
    • Oversee employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Lead performance management processes, including KPIs, appraisals, feedback systems, and performance improvement plans.
    • Identify training needs, coordinate learning and development programs, and support succession planning initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies while maintaining accurate HR records, documentation, and payroll processes.
    • Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to support business operations.

    Requirements

    • First degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in procurement, construction, or related industries is an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and performance management systems.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
