    Human Resources Manager

    Job Description

    • To be successful in this role, you should have a good knowledge of labour legislation and experience hiring employees for various positions and seniority levels.
    • Ultimately, you will help us run a healthy hotel business where our employees are happy, engaged and productive.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit and Onboard new hires
    • Design hiring plans for all hotel departments based on seasonal needs
    • Conduct performance management and provide feedback
    • Manage Payroll and benefits for employees.
    • Oversee employee attendance and working schedules, including paid time off, overtime and breaks.
    • Organize employee records, like contracts, paying particular attention to work permits and visas.
    • Implement employee retention programs (e.g. end-of-season bonuses)
    • Coordinate accommodation, catering and transport for our staff when necessary
    • Schedule training for all hotel employees (e.g. customer service skills training)
    • Act as the point of contact when employees have queries or job-related issues
    • Ensure hotel staff complies with relevant health and safety regulations.

    Qualifications

    • BSc in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a similar field. An additional diploma in Hotel Management is a plus
    • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
    • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
    • Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees
    • Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software Experience in conducting interviews
    • Understanding of labour legislation with an emphasis on part-time and overtime regulations
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
    • Attention to detail and sound judgement
    • Excellent communication skills
