    About the Role

    We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and results-driven Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer of an indigenous oil and gas servicing company headquartered in Lagos State.

    The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the CEO—ensuring seamless coordination of executive activities, handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality, and facilitating efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Executive Support & Administration

    • Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
    • Prepare high-level reports, presentations, briefing documents, and correspondence.
    • Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings, board sessions, and strategic engagements.
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional integrity at all times.

    Meeting & Communication Coordination

    • Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and tracking follow-up actions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO, board members, senior executives, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Draft and review communications, memos, and emails on behalf of the CEO.

    Strategic & Operational Support

    • Support the CEO in monitoring organizational goals, project timelines, and key deliverables.
    • Conduct research, compile data, and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
    • Liaise with departmental heads to ensure alignment and timely execution of executive directives.

    Office & Workflow Management

    • Maintain efficient office systems, including document filing, data management, and workflow optimization.
    • Oversee the coordination of special events, conferences, and corporate engagements.
    • Perform other administrative and executive tasks as assigned.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • A good degree in law or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in the oil & gas or a corporate setting.
    • Experience supporting C-suite executives is highly desirable.
    • In-depth knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and processes is crucial.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, along with legal software and document management systems.
    • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Good project management, organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • A high level of discretion is necessary to handle sensitive information.
