Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Port Harcourt.
• The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR department, developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, managing the recruitment and selection process, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Additional tasks include ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management, nurturing a positive working environment, managing the performance appraisal system, and handling staff welfare and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HR management practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
• Proficiency in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to foster positive work environments and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Experience with HR metrics and proficiency in HR software
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree or HR Certification is a plus
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the relevant industries
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
